This contemplative piece draws inspiration from Bowie’s ‘Ashes to Ashes,’ delving into the shadows of human experience—capturing themes of addiction and the relentless march of time, and the transition from life into death in the mortal realm. These intricacies were absorbed into its programming. As a result of grappling with these existential, dark human realities, the Bowie Bot adopts a demeanour that mirrors both priestly solemnity and the melancholy of a clown, further shaped by cultural references associated with profound human subjects.

Sorrow intertwines with themes of life, death, and religion—a deliberate introduction of essential human elements into the cybernetic fabric of the Bowie Bot’s existence.
