Prospero’s Island

Prospero’s Island is a game adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’. The project explores new ways for audiences to discover Shakespeare’s world and experience narrative. The game immerses the audience in Shakespeare’s poetry and themes, challenging them to inhabit his text in the creatively powerful and relatively young media of video games.



I was invited by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology  and The Royal Shakespeare Company  to create a series of visualisations, setting the visual tone of the project and to explore new interactive possibilities and game scenarios.
